The electric vehicle industry of India is in its nascent stage but growing fast. Both central and the state governments are launching different schemes to incentivize the adoption of electric vehicles in India. According to Auto News  published in the Economic Times on April 4th, 2022, the number of registered electric vehicles running on Indian roads is 10,95,746.
